Reading - listening and discussion

26 Outubro 2016, 08:00 Cecília Maria Beecher Martins

Did the pre-reading task on the newspaper article "The hidden adult themes in Beatrix Potter". Class discussion of the topics.
Asked students to read this text for the next class (pp 21-25 manual).

Watched BBC production of two Beatrix Potter stories "The tale of Peter Rabbit" and "Peter Rabbit & Benjamin Bunny" (text of stories also in manual) and asked students to identify social satire in BP's stories. This also served to prepare students for the set reading.
