Student led discussion - brainstorming for writing an opinion essay

17 Outubro 2016, 08:00 Cecília Maria Beecher Martins

Students had prepared one of the topics on the Johns Hopkins School of Education list on "Why the Arts are Important".

Having discussed the layout of an opinion essay (3,5,5,5,3 structure) - students presented their ideas and research on the topic of why the arts are important.

We used this as the basis for brainstorming an opinion essay - selection of possible thesis ideas and supporting arguments.
