Review and discussion of students' oral presentation abstracts - orientation of students' research.


Remining students presented their discussion topics on Paul Torday's The Hopless Life of Charlie Summers. 

Students also did Use of English exercises (p 4 & 5 of new copies). These exercises will be corrected in next class. Also students should bring the complete set of Use of English exercises to the next class.

1. Feedback on previous assignment. Remedial work: grammar revision of: the use of pronouns, with a particular emphasis on the pronoun 'it'; the uses of 'it' and 'there'; comparatives and superlatives.
