We looked at some vocabulary for mathematical terms, including diagrams and the imperial and metric measurements. We then also looked at idioms and expressions with measurements.

We read and discusses "The Embassy of Cambodia". Discussion focused on how the main character identifies herself but also the trauma she went through. We also dicussed immigration, refugees, genocide, exploitation, issues of class and racism and the general theme of suffering that the story presents.
