We read and analyzed ST1 from Practical 7. Students had to state the main purpose and discuss the strategies used keeping in mind the following questions: 

a.      Given the dominant position of English-speaking economies and the status of English as a lingua franca, do you believe this translation should make use of borrowing or loaning from English?

b.     Business or economic terminology often makes use of metaphorization or neologisms. Does this specific text provide any examples? Can you maintain this creative language use in your translation?

c.      Is there any vagueness or lexical or structural ambiguity in the text that you feel a need to clarify?
