We read from a collection of stories Women who Walk, edited by Louisse Ross. We first discuss the story of Sabhya Acevinkumar of Indian descent and living between Portugal and Mozambique. The topics of our discussion include breaking away from a tradition while living abroad; gender and traveling; bodily suffering and traveling: trauma. We answer questions such as: Does identity change with a place where we are?What would a successful world look like? How do you deal with external sources imposing an identity on you when you feel somebody else?
