18 Setembro 2023, 08:00 Hilda Alexandra Prazeres Eusebio

Today, students listed all of the different persuasive writing techniques they identified in the Depp vs. Heard closing arguments (Vasquez and Rottenborn only).

We then went on to discuss the basics of editorial writing and began reading/analyzing (and identified the writing techniques in) Text 2 from the course book, Cathy Reay's A message to the NHS: disabled people like having sex, too.

Next class: we will continue to read Text 2 and hopefully move on to another text.

No homework this time.
