Preparation for Upcoming Written Test

Today, TP2 prepared for their upcoming written test where they will be writing an editorial.

Students who missed today's class are highly encouraged to go into the shared Google drive and read the PowerPoint entitled: Instructions for your Editorial Test. This will inform students of exactly what they can and cannot bring to the first and second parts of their written test.

Next class: first part of the written test.

Grammar review + Essay

We focused on adjective order (predicative or attributive posision) as well as how to order three or more adjectives in sentences. I reviewed the guidelines for the essay - coming up with a thesis statement, doing research, citing sources and using MLA. As the thesis statement proved difficult we will spend the first 10-15 minutes of the following classes going over students' doubts regarding the essay.
