Today we discussed the movie "The Gleaners and I" by Agnès Varda. We focused on the following issues:

- The genre of the movie, suspended between documentary and autobiography.

- The use of different languages integrated in the narrative (law discourse, painting, music, dictionary).

- The culture of recycling in contemporary contexts (as well as the idea of recycling culture).

- Gleaning as a social vs. individual practice.

- The ethical implications of gleaning nowadays.
